Details

Whispering Waves in Porthtowan is located above The Beach Shop (Gift-Shop/Porthtowan-BEACH-SHOP)on Beach Road, and is accessed to the rear of the property, with access from the public car park.  The apartment has undergone a full renovation and refurbishment, so offers a fresh, new, modern apartment for your stay.

On entering the apartment you will find a hallway with coat hooks, which leads into the open plan lounge kitchen/diner where you will be met by stunning views across the beach and along the coast. The lounge is equipped with seating for four, and a smart TV. The open plan kitchen/diner provides seating for four whilst the kitchen is equipped with an electric oven, microwave, kettle, toaster, and all the equipment you would need to cater for four people.

Also leading off the hallway is a bathroom with full size bath and electric shower over. Next to this is a twin bedroom with storage for clothes.

Upstairs, overlooking the lounge, a double mezzanine bedroom, can be found. Privacy curtains are in situ.

The apartment comes with allocated permit parking which is situated a short walk from the complex. 

There is free WiFi.

During peak season changeover day is a Friday.

Arrival from 4pm and departure by 10.00am

Local Area

Whilst Porthtowan is a small village, there is plenty to keep you busy. The beach itself provides excellent surfing, has a man-made swimming pool, many rock pools, sea fishing, amazing coastal walks to the north and south, and of course plenty of golden sand to build sandcastles.

Getting Here

From the M5, take exit 30 to join the A30. Continue on the A30 for about 100 miles, going straight across the first roundabout you meet (there will be windmills to your right), until you reach Chiverton Roundabout. Take the 5th exit, sign posted St Agnes. Continue on the road for a mile or so until you come to a crossroads, where you turn left, signposted Porthtowan. At the end of this road go straight across, again following signs to Porthtowan. Stay on this road until you see the sea on your right, head down the hill and turn right at the bottom into Beach Road. Head straight through the village until you come to the car park on your right. Once in the car park head left towards The Beach Shop sign. This is the end of the apartments. You will see a gap in the wall....this is the rear access to the apartments. Once inside you will find a parking permit. Unload your car, then take it out of the car park turning left and immediate left again. You will see houses on the left, and our car park is immediately behind them. The spaces are numbered. You park in 18, ensuring the permit is clearly displayed.

All bookings during Peak Season are Friday to Friday.

During Off Peak bookings of minimum 3 nights may be requested.

A 30% non-refundable deposit is payable at the time of bookings, the remainder due 6 weeks prior to arrival. 

Payment to be made via direct bank transfer (preferred) or online card payment.

Reservation deposits are non-refundable unless dates can be re-let, in which case the deposit will be refunded less any difference in the rental fee from the replacement booking and a £20 admin fee. 

Cancellations less than 6 weeks prior to the arrival date result n the loss of the full holiday cost, again unless the dates can be re-let, and again,  less any difference and a £20 admin fee.  It is recommended that travel insurance is taken out at time of booking to avoid such an eventuality.
